What a wonderful year I have had writing a weekly blog! I was delighted to be asked and it has been invaluable as a personal record for my partner (the silent, in-the-background driver of all our adventures, second photographer and bird identifier) and I to relive little observations made while we travelled. Journaling made the long car trips more bearable, I was jotting down ideas, thoughts and notes along the way - while navigating to the KFC outlet closest to our planned campsite.
As the year comes to an end, we are planning on seeing family visiting from the Isle of Man and local family, ending the year of all the planned tasks that needed to be done to start the year afresh.
Next year starts off with a real treat - Nature Journaling SA will be co-hosting a Wild Wonder Foundation session with John Muir Laws! Cati Vawda wrote an amazing blog on Artivism for the African Penguin where she highlighted the plight of the African Penguin's numbers dwindling, and the WWF session will highlight the need for activism for the African Penguin. Please do join us, keep an eye on the WWF and NJSA Instagram pages for more information.
Loved your 2024 blogs... looking forward to 2025 blogs
